Took this domain many many years ago with “freenetnames” - they offered a free domain if you used their dial-up. Yes, that long ago. Kept it through moving to plusnet, one.com and now it’s sitting here on cloudflare.

The site is zola, with the tabi theme. It’s a set of markdown (very basic text formatting) files, these are on a Git repo - any push to main makes a Cloudflare worker run the Zola update program and updates the site. The sweet extra is that I now have a Telegram bot attached, so I can send a message in telegramn and that adds a blog post,. Hopefully that’ll make it easier for me to post.

Becaue I have posted in the past - the various blogs go back a number of years. Always Wordpress in the past, but now converted to this markdown thing and I’m not paying anyone for hosting - Cloudflare just charges the domain fee, at cost - so about £5 per annum.

As always, expect a flurry of posts, a guilty dwindling and then nothing for a few years.
